“Climb every mountain, ford every stream. Follow every rainbow, ‘til you find your dream.” – Sound of Music

 

Hey friends!

After our retreat weekend, we made a quick stop in Salzburg to see one of the sites where The Sound of Music was filmed! We took a picture by the fountain, and then explored a bit. We only had two hours there, so we didn’t go very far, but we climbed up the path to a castle and just enjoyed the day!

This is the fountain! At least, that’s what I was told. I don’t actually remember for sure. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen that movie.

But we took the picture like in the movie!

After that, we explored the town briefly, and I saw this guy feeding all the seagulls.

We climbed up to this castle, but we weren’t able to go in because we didn’t have enough time. It was a fun walk, though!

I also found this guy. He looked like a Ring Wraith so I had to take a picture. I’m not actually sure what the plaque said. I can’t read enough German yet.

It was a short trip, but it was fun!
