“As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen.” – Winnie the Pooh
Hey friends!
This last summer, I went on a trip with my best friend. She and I had been talking about taking an adventure together for a long time, and we finally made it happen! We wanted hiking and mountains, and I have family in Colorado that said we could stay with them (which was perfect for our not-so-impressive college funds). So, to Colorado we went!
Our first big adventure was to the Garden of the Gods!

We both really enjoyed photographing the beautiful red rocks, despite the dense fog all over. The weather all week was pretty muggy, so we couldn’t find a better day to go. We decided to go anyways.

Emily is a great photographer! She also has a blog full of her photography, check it out!

This is the Kissing Camels structure. So cute!

While walking around, the red sand stone got all over our shoes.

This is the first of the two natural hearts that I saw that day! I thought that was really cool. The other is here, too. Stay tuned!

This is the Ship Formation. Makes sense, right?

Here’s the other heart! It’s upside down in this picture because that’s how I saw it, but it’s still cool!

Yay, Colorado!!

The Garden of the Gods was beautiful and a wonderful visit regardless of the weather.
Thanks for reading! And don’t forget to check out my friend’s blog pictures from this trip and many more exciting adventures!
Sincerely,
Kirsten
